They were smelly, being ammonia derivitives... which is actually very unhealthy for you, since it destroys some of the alveoli in your lungs.

Frankly I couldn't care less about smelling salts. They aren't used much nowadays.
*wonders if there is a patant for Fangirl Smelling Salts*

LOL, well see ...the pic I can explain. That is the work of my friend Robin, or Largo. Dunno if you know him?
Well, my nick--Rimmer--is based on a hologram role played by Chris Barry in the British comedy TV show Red Dwarf. Now I've only read the books, but there is apparently one episode where a holo virus infects Red Dwarf's--a five mile long, red (duh) space vessel--mainframe. The effects are terrible. The holograms go completely insane, even though et's just Rimmer since... Red Dwarf can only host one hologram at a time, because the energy it takes to power a hologram at such detail is like powering the entire c ity of Paris for 3 years.
The important thing is Rimmer's eyes flash red while he is all virused.

You didn't need to explain to to me about Red Dwarf. I know what it is. I've seen some eppys of it. Though I don't know if it's on TV on a station I have any more.

Lol, well I'm not psychic dearie. I didn't know that you've seen or heard of Red Dwarf, so I had to be as accurate as possible. Hmm...
I recommend that everyone gets on the smegging bandwagon and buys DVDs. Especially the Ultimate Ric Flair DVD Collection and T-shirt package... Aaaah, ten and a half hours of "stylin' and profilin'" and "wheelin'-dealin'." ...I'm in heaven. OH! And the "WHOOOO!" Behold the power of the "WHOOOO!"
