Jackie, once again, didn't reply. There was a rustling in the bushes now, and she turned to see who it was. A haggard old man staggard out, grinning stupidly at her. "Ten gold peices if you clean up this mess," he rasped, jangeling a bag in one hand and pointind=g at the house with the other one. Jackie frowned and got to work, Eve and Blackie lying forgotten.

Blackie gave Eve a look that clearly said: 'I think we should help.'

Eve placed her gaze on the man. Slowly, but surely, she started to help with the cleaning.

Blackie helped to...or as much as he could, bringing them sponges, and other things. He even managed to dust a table by pushing the duster with his front paws.

Eve laughed at Blackie's antics. Although he had been trying to help, he was fallling behind.

Jackie smiled, a rare occurance, pickie Blackie up and carried him to the small kitchen where she showed him how she was organizing the food. Once he got going on it she left to clean the rest of the house with eve. She hated organizing. ~_^

Blackie hated organising too.
"Stupid food..." He mumbled. Being a cat was getting increasingly frustrating.

Jackie went outside to get some firewood, it was late in fall and very cold.

With Eve helping, they finished in no time.
"Where's Jackie?" Blackie asked, looking around and not being able to see or hear her.

Jackie was five minutes away and coming towards the house with an armload of wood. "Another ten if you can get those two thugs outa my house. ANY WAY POSSIBLE. But, try and get the girl alive." Jackie looked at him, he was clearly annoyed at her, and she was just as disgusted as he was annoyed. Jackie went inside without answering and immediatly set a merry fire in the fireplace. Oblivios of all else, she sat by the flames, wondering about what to do. Normaly she would comply without question, she wouldn't care. But now ... now she didn't know what she wanted to do. Eventually she reached a resolve, which she spoke aloud, still oblivios to any and all standing around. Still, she spoke quietly, barely a murmur. "they're all dead, you won't kill them." Which, of course, made no senence whatsoever to anybody who might've been listning.

The cat's good hearing picked it up. His ears pricked and he turned around.
He looked up at her, waiting patiently fo her to go on.

Jackie thought for a moment, then turned around and said "the man likes his privacy. You've both got to leave.
