ooc: congrats!
bic: Vi glanced at the coming storm, but didn't react to it at first, she had temporarily forgotten that they were out at sea. She had watched many storms come and go on the plains.
She still wasn't that daunted by the oncoming clouds. With no good books about storms, and being left out from the story-telling sessions, she'd no idea what they could do.
In a minute, however, it was upon them.
Vi clung to the mast as the storm whirled around them, all she wanted was for this to stop. Suddenly she lost her lunch, but it was quickly washed over the side by the waves that swept over the ship. Groaning, she turned the groan into a small hum.
In a moment, her thoughts were clearer, and she was more calm. What's more, she wasn't seasick anymore. Her humming turned into a small song, and she let go of the mast and, in the midst of a ragin storm, started looking for Rosa.

Rosa was just making sure that Riikae was managing all right in the hold. The gryphon was curled up on a nest of canvas, packages of cloth, and a few bundles of hay. In fact he chased her out saying, "I will be jussttt fine! Pleassse ssstttop fusssssing over me!"
Rosa smiled and heading up on deck, keeping her arms out for balance. Surprisingly for her, the ship's movements didn't bother her a great deal. She was feeling a little green and off-balance, but she wasn't ready to throw up.

It was time like this that Iresented being human. Damn these imperfections that plagued me, damn the fluid in my ears that were responicible for my balance, and damn the sea for trying to stop me from proving my worth to my brother! Damn it all!
I kept the ship stead as best I could, periodically checking on the girls to see how they were doing, but a huge wave had other plans for me. It came barrling up on deck and flung me half way across the ship. My head was met with a crate and knocked me out, cold. I stayed out for many hours....

"Rosa!" Vi screamed, but the wind protested and screamed louder, resulting in Rosa not hearing her.
Vi sighed and walked calmly over to where Rosa had just climbed onto the deck.

Rosa nodded to Vi as another wave crashed over the ship, soaking everything. She glanced up at to where Selino had been steering the ship and didn't see him. She grabbed Vi's arm and pointed. "Something's wrong! Where's Selino?" Rosa shouted over the storm.

Vi's quiet singing abruptly stopped, as she ran over to the wheel, and with a quick glance around, decided he wasn't there. Then she spotted him, a limp form, leaning against a crate. Gesturing to Rosa, she ran over to him as fast as she could. //He's out cold..// She thought to herself, grabbing his hand. A muffled song rose up from her heart, and as it burst out she felt suddenly empowered, and she grabbed him by both hands and dragged him quickly and easily over to the hold, and then she descended, trusting Rosa to the tending of the ship for now. OOC: Yeah, yeah. You get to rescue the next person in dire peril.

Rosa hurried to the wheel, grabbing it quickly as it spun. She wasn't a very strong girl so she had to use all her strength to get the ship pointed in one direction. She clung to the wheel as another wave crashed over the ship.
Riikae looked up at Vi dragged Selino into the hold. "Whattt happened?" He asked moving over slightly to make more room.

"No idea," Vi stated calmly, laying Selino down on the floor and feeling his forehead and pulse.
"No fever...There's still a pulse..." She murmured, then glanced up at Riikae.
"He must've just gotten a nasty bump on the head," she said, sighing then stared at Selino again.
"Come on...wake up..." She urged him, prodding at his nearly-lifeless form.
"I- er, I'd better go check on Rosa," Vi admitted, a little sheepishly. "You watch him for now, kay?" And, trusting the Gryffon to care for Selino, she dashed on deck and spotted Rosa at the wheel, struggling desperatly to keep it going strait.
Out of Vi came a sound of mixed worry and exasperation. Would this storm never end? But then, it was lost in the storm like everything else. Humming again, it seemed to aid her balance, she ran top-speed over to Rosa and grabbed the wheel from her, and, still humming, held it fast, almost with ease.

Riikae nodded and hooked his talons through the back of Selino's shirt, pulling him over to a more comfortable spot.
Rosa smiled at Vi as she came to help with the wheel. There was a breathless excitment in her eyes. Even soaked to the skin and chilled, she was enjoying herself. "How's Selino?" She asked loudly.

"Out cold, but he only bashed his head, I think he'll be fine!" Vi yelled back, though they were only feet away.
(('Kay, that's enough storm stories for me...for now...))
The storm slowly passed over, and as soon as the seas calmed down enough, Vi left the wheel and went back to Selino.
A light song of healing that she'd heard around the village suddenly burst from her lips, surprising her the most. She placed her hand on Selino's forhead, and saw the color returning to his features quickly. Then his breathing began to be heard again, and Vi sighed with relief, the song stopping.

My eyes fluttered open as a beautiful song danced around my ears. I felt as if a life had been thrust back into me as my breathe returned and my head lifted it's self...
"Well, good morning, there..." I leaned on one arm and shook the cobwebs out of my head... "So, are we on course? How's everyone else?"

Rosa puttered around on deck, checking the rigging and sails for damage.
Riikae watched Vi as she healed Selino. "Wonderrrful! I didn'ttt rrrealissse ttthattt we had a Healerrr wittth usss." He gryph-grinned at her.

"I- but I... I'm not a healer!" Vi exclaimed in surprise. "What are you talking about? I'm just happy that Selino's okay! I...I've never....healed....before....um..." She faltered then stopped, blushing.

"Yes, I suppose..." Vi relented, but she still rather disbelieved the whole thing herself.
"How are you feeling, anyways?" She asked, turning back to Selino.
