PST: Magical thread, Free to all. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Many people stopped to stare at the strange woman walking down the street. Most only noticed her odd style of clothing, while only those on one side of her took note of the strange thing attached to her temple.
For her part, Elizabeth ignored the stares she was recieving. She just had to get out from the small room she was renting. With nothing to occupy her mind, she was starting to feel the loneliness again. The loneliness of being in a place so different and far from her own world.
There has to be a way to return. They must be trying to figure a way. They just have to. her mind kept repeating as she walked, her hands shoved deep in the pockets of her slacks. There was a flaw in that thinking though, a major one. No one but her had really understood how to work the portal.
She had to get herself out of this drepressive spiral. There had to be something in this city that would occupy her.
With that firmly in mind, Elizabeth finally took stock of her surroundings.

Braedon Rhade, a traveller that had stopped by in the city, weaved through the crowd.
It was amazing how lonely a person could get, even among a city full of people. Though it was a different lonliness than that he experianced when he was on the road alone.
All of a sudden, he lost his concentration, and walked straight into a girl.

Elizabeth had only paused for a second when someone walked right into her. She stumbled back and glared at the man, her violet eyes flashing angrily.

Elizabeth shruged and muttered back.
"As you should be."
She moved to brush past the man.

Braedon let her pass, his cheeks still a little red, he was rarely that clumsy.
OOC: Might she have dropped something?

OOC: I didn't think she was holding anything. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Elizabeth started walking again, not realizing she had dropped the small notebook she had always kept with her.

OOC: well this thread probably won't go very far if they don't stop and talk.
BIC: Braedon was about to set back off on his way, but noticed the small notebook laying on the ground. He guessed it must be the girls, and picked it up.
Not even stopping to glance through the pages, he ran to catch up to her.

When the man stopped her a second time, Elizabeth whirled to face him. She did not like being bothered.
"What is it?" she said impatiently.

"You dropped this"
He offered the book as he spoke. This time he he managed to look less embarrassed, and even put on a small smile.

Elizabeth looked at him in surprise and then down at the book in his hand.
"Thank you..." She said hesitantly as she took it back.

"Your welcome." He said back. "It was my fault you dropped it anyway." Pleasantly smiling an apology.

Elizabeth nods, agreeing with his statement.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
OOC:Maybe he can say something about the thing attached to her temple. Joy isn't really very talkitive.
"So, uh.." He tried to start a conversation.
"Are you new in town?" he guessed, being new himself, he had no idea. But she seemed a little different.
Elizabeth looked at him for a long moment before answering. He didn't seem to be of any danger, but she still wasn't sure of the people who lived in this place.
"I am. It's a long story." The last part was said softly.
