Eve shook her head. "I'm not human. That'd be a disgrace to my family," she said, and knelt down. She picked up Blackie and looked up at the half cat, half human creatrure, looking completely innocent and harmless.

Hunter frowned. He was on his own, and lost. But he had learned better than to trust a stranger... unless this being really wasn't human at all.
He had heard legends, but never been sure if Elves existed or not. He did take notice to the slightly posesive feeling she cast over Blackie. Friend or owner, he wasn't sure.
