Hunter nodded "Indeed you have." He said with a smile. He turned around to scan the surrounding desert. He wondered if anyone else was still around besides PK and himself, the sand would cover their sent pretty well but as he turned back to face the white cat he noticed something bad. They were leaving a trail. He mentaly kicked himself, but made sure not to give any outward signs of his fear. The wind would surely blow their tracks away, he hoped. He knew it would take time... but he worried about it. PK said the clans were after her, with these tracks it looked like a cat walking with a human, he might be putting her in danger... he wasn't sure what to do.

Almost as if she knew what he was thinking (which she didn't) Pk said, "But like i said, they won't follow me out here. They don't know how to survive a desert...neither do i come to think of it...Wish i'd have known how cold it get's at night...Is somthing wrong? you look...troubled..."

"It's umm. It's nothing." Okay Hunter thought to himself Thats good news, the clans won't follow her out here, and I know how to survive in the desert, we'll be fine "Freezing nights, burning days." He smiled. "Just in the morning it's perfect. But, since you aren't used to it..." Hunter thought a moment and stopped walking. "Okay, here is how I see it. We need to get some supplies, so we'll have to go into town. If we get enough supplies we can live here forever, soon as we find an oasis or well or something.. But, uh, no offence kitty, but your fur isn't going to last long. The sand will get into it and you'll freeze at night." He paused, not pleased with his word choices. "... Hey, we're both cats, we can see at night so we should travel at night! Humans can't because they won't see snakes or holes, but we can! And the movement will wam you up!" He exclaimed, happy that he found a plan.

Blackie crept up to them and then suddenly shot up Hunter's leg, and climbed onto the top of his head. "That sounds like a good idea!" He exclaimed.

Hunter yelped, instantly on the defence and fell back, hissing.

Eve ran up behind them again, panting. Blackie had gone on a head, simply because she couldn't run that horribly fast, she had wasted a lot of energy on that trip.
But she could still see them in the distance.

Blackie fell off Hunter's head and landed in the sand. "Hey, it's only me." He said. "And we have to wait for Eve to catch up..."

Hunter hid behind PK mentaly cursing all the people who keep creeping up on him. His tail fuzzed out and glared at Blackie who had come out of thin air. Or so it seemed to Hunter. "Not nice." he muttered

Hunter muttered to himself and slunk to the ground, pouting and waiting for Eve. Though he wasn't sure why. He glanced up at PK to see what she wanted to do.

Eve looked up at the blurred images, they were way too far. With a grumble, she sunk into the ground and reappeared in front of the trio. "Hey," she said weakly.

"Are you alright Eve?" Blackie asked her softly, noticing how tired she seemed.

Eve didn't want to be weak in front of the cat-people. "Yeah, I'm just... peachy," she said, and got to her feet, ignoring her body's protests.

Blackie knew she was lying, he knew her well enough by now to know when she was trying to act fine when she wasn't.

Hunter could sence the elf's drain of energy. His cat mind latched onto it as a sign to attack. But he didn't understand the urge to pounce. Eve wasn't a human, she had told him that, he believed her. But she looked human, and he wondered what PK would think. "If we're going, we should go." He stated. Besides, he had no idea what the town up ahead was like and if there was trouble he wanted to be sure his companions were trustworthy. He would let PK decide. She knew this world better than him, and for some reson, he trusted her.
