Silo glared at the ground, but quickly cleared the expresion as he looked up. "Me?" he asked, offering a charasmatic smile.

Rosa stepped back and glances at Riikae. She was sure this was the same person as before. Riikae snorted in laughter. "Don'ttt tttrrry ttthattt on usss, young brrrancherrr. You can'ttt fool a grrryphon."

Silo considered that statement. He was not accustom to Gryphons and what it said was probably true as he'd knever known an animal to lie to him. Not that he'd ever known an animal to talk to him. Trips snorted and eased back, though Silo doubted they could outrun the gryphon.
"Right so... can i help you in some way?"

Silo maintained his smile. "How much?" he asked.

"It was ten coppers, plus what you gave back when you stole it." Rosa said as defiantly as she could.

Darn it, Silo had been hoping she would say that she did not know. Instead he took a pouch off his belt and tossed it to and kicked Trips, who started around the gryphon. "There."

Riikae kept watching the boy and his horse, knowing with a fair bit of smugness that it was making the animal very nervous. Rosa caught the pouch and tucked it back in her clothing.
"You're very good." She said softly. "I ususally don't get knobbed like that."

Silo shrugged and glanced back. "I am sorry about knocking you down," he stated. "Wasn't expecting you to be moving that fast. My appolagies." He tipped his head in a small bow and released the reins, allowing trips to run as fast as he wanted to. He was happy for the speed tough because the girl was bound to figure out that she had an extremely cheap bag full of smooth river stones.

Rosa opened the bag as the guy started to ride off and saw the stones. With one look Riikae knew they had been had once again. "It's not funny Riikae." Rosa scolded.
"I know. I know..." the gryphon said, choking down laughter as he took off once again after the thief. Moving with remarkable speed for something that large, Riikae was in front of the horse and rider, startling the mount into rearing.

Silo was thrown off and landed quite painfuly on his back with his head smacking against the ground. Trips danced away from the gryphon and back a few feet where he stood, stomped the ground and snorted angrily. Silo opened his eyes and saw what the problem was. "You again?" he mused, climbing to his feet.

Silo glanced over his shoulder at his mount, offering a glower that summed up all his venemous thoughts. Trips forced himself forward and Silo returned his gaze to the Gryphon. He had a few tricks up his sleeve, but since the normal fast getaway he had come to love was useless and attacking a little girl and such a creature over ten coins seemed a tad low, even for a thief. His hand flickered in and out of his coat and he opened it to reveal the ten coins.

Riikae reached forward with one taloned forepaw. "Now be a good litttttle boy and puttt ttthossse coinsss in ttthe nice birrrdy'sss hand." He enjoyed playing the role of imposing menace.

Silo's eyes flashed with annoyance. He changed hands as he stepped forward and the coins in the gryphons hand. All five of them. He backed away, showing both empty hands as if declaring defeat and turned back towards Trips.
