Rainlight went outside and looped the other end around one of Rith's forepaws. The dragon slowly backed up, pulling Elaafis out of the hole in the floor.

Elaafis held on as he was pulled out of the hole. Once up, he let go, and unlooped himself out of the harness, and lay on the floor. "Thanks." He said.

Rainlight smiled and pulled the rest of the harness off of Rith.

Elaafis stood up, and looked over the edge into the hole. It looked deeper from up the top. "I wonder what this is doing here." He wondered aloud.

"It is strange to have something like this in the middle of the floor." Rainlight said when she came back inside.

Elaafis nodded. "Probably what we should do...but how, they look heavy..." He said. They had no rope for the dragon, and the harness would hardly take the weight....

Rainlight sighed. Her riding harness would be able to lift some of the boxes, but she worried about the wear and tear on the wher-hide.

"How did you open the doors the first time?" He asked. thinking there had to have been some way the builders had used to get the boxes out.

"There is a lever of some sort set in the floor of one of the buildings." Rainlight pointed it out to him.

"Let's go see if there's anything else in there..." He said, and started out of the hut.
