The stall they were heading to sold vegetables native to the area. Among the produce were freshly collected herbs as well as the usual vegetables. This village would not suffer from scrurvy by the look of the selection. Heather asked the lady of the stall how much were the carrots. She then realized that the smallest currency they had were gold coins that braedon had. She thought of the amount of carrots it would bring, and decided she didn't like carrots that much.
So she shook her head and said thanks anyways. The Lady commented that it had not been long since she had last seen Heather. Heather looked more closely at the women and realized that she had met her after all, just before Nessa windsoul brought Heather to Runupa.
ooc: This thread is just being posted in incaris...the setting is still senkinar.
bic: Heather learned from the lady of the stall that the lady had lived here all of her life. The Lady said, "Your companion, its been a while since he was here." Heather turned slightly, motioning to Braedon, "You are sure you've seen my friend before."
The Lady replied, "Yes, I am sure. It has been around 10 years. I remember because that is when my daughter got married. Your friend was younger back then of course."
The lady turned to Braedon, "Do you remember me?"

Braedon loked her over. "No, I'm sorry, you must be mistaken, I've never been here before." he said, quite surely.

The lady of the stall said, "Well, I remember you as a youngster, or at least someone who looked like you 10 years ago."
Heather asked the Lady if she could remember any more details about when she arrived or the boy that arrived some 10 years ago. The Lady said that it had always been in a garden. She pointed the way to it, adding that it was a collective garden, more of a quite place of relaxing for the villages. Heather and Braedon headed over there. The Heather put down her pack and took out some lunch. She showed Braedon two packages, saying "Which one?"

"Either, I don't mind" He said reaching out to the poackage on the left, and looking around at the garden, wondering why there was an odd feeling in his mind.

Heather handed the package he had chosen to him and put the other one back, saying "Congrats you did not choose the toilet paper." She took another food package that was not toilet paper. She looked around as she ate.

He looked down at the package. And it was indeed not the toilet paper, and he was suprised that Heather had offered him the toilet paper. Obviously she wasn't as distracted.
He gave her a half hearted glare.

Heather replied to his glare, "Well you have a good memory." She grinned and then had a fit of laughter, where she somehow managed not to choke. She had been looking around to hide the expression on her face.
After a while, she stopped laughing and focused on eating. When she was done eating, she asked Braedon, "So, that lady did not look familiar?"

"Not...especially..." He said. "It was more like she reminded me of someone than felt familiar." Braedon summarized.

Heather nodded. glanced up from eating, noticing a tree behind Braedon. She got up abruptly and walked to it, dumping her food on the gruond, barely avioding tripping on her backpack.
A couple steps later, she stopped, staring at the tree and bushes nearby. At first glance she might appear to be frozen, but she was really reliving a memory. She looked up, almost expecting there to be a moon there. Seeing a sun, she blinked. After she looked around, she realized where she was, or rather what timeof the day it was. Feeling a bit tired, she sat down at the base of the tree. Once more she looked up, finding the view very familiar.

Braedon watched her get up, and walk around for a moment, and then sit back down. He swivelled around to face her. "Are you okay?" He asked.

Heather looked at Braedon as if she had just woken up. She said, "oh....fine I guesse. I've sat here before." Her voice dropped off as she stood up and thougth for a minute. Then she moved around a few feet, finding that she remembered the tree well. Finally she said, "This is where I first arrived here. I woke up sitting slumped against this tree."

Braedon looked up at the tree. It didn't seem very special. "Your sure?" He asked.

"Yes. That memory was imprinted in my mind because it was such a shock to wake up in another planet. My arrival was rather unexpected. Thankfully those around me at my arrival were friendly and helpful."
She got up, and went to her back pack. THen she picked up her food from the ground, and wrapped it in a cloth. She didn't see a trash can around, so she intended to bury it later on and let it compost underground.
Then she packed everything else up. She kicked the dirt. "I thought that coming here would answer some of my questions, but nothing has come up. No brain wave. I don't know what I really expected. I don't even know if I want to go home to austrania, because of the civil war. At the same time, I love this place, this planet. I've lived here long enough that I don't know what I call home," said heather in an emotional voice. She didn't cry,and her expression was thoughtful. If one listened carefully, one would note a slight edge of furstration in HEather's voice. She had expected to find something here, but there wasn't anything here. She had not considered the possibility of not finding anything.
Heather sat down after what speaking. A wave of tiredness passed over her face, followed by a look of indecision.
