As if reading his mind, Sil started to happily list off how they got along 'back home'.
"So, Dad gets up before dawn, eats, starts to work at dawn, and keeps working 'till noon when he eats lunch. Then he goes out again and finishes work, then comes in, eats dinner, and goes to bed. Us, we get up later in the day, and work with the animals a bit in the mornings."

"Well, we've only got a few animals," Sil said, "so it's really only feeding them and milking the cow. Sometimes we even find some eggs from our chicken, but not much."

OOC:*kicks a loose stone* join the party...  So.... Several nights later, the Bog looked the same, they'd lost sight of the star, and things were looking bleak. Up till now they'd been pretty confident that it would go somewhere, and though both of them had had their bad nights, this was the worst. How long could this go on for?? |
