Rimmer remembered that the angry lady on the horse was still here. If he didn't move arse quickly, she might smite him for loitering on her proclaimed territory. The valuable sidewalk.
"Well, I'm actually quite hungry," he told the wolf. "You can't recover from a knife fight with one of those magic beds in five minutes without some sort of appetite." His stomach felt empty enough that he could eat until his buttons popped really. But why say that? So rude, and so unimportant.
"How about we get summat to eat huh?" extending somewhat a warm welcome. He wasn't good at the whole person-to-person level of conversation... at least, the long silences annoyed him. He became self-rounded then. That just didn't sit well after anyone said goodbye.
After all, he remembered the frigid treatment he was awarded when he litterally appeared in town.

<Food would be good.> Okami answered him as she stepped out from the alleyway. <I would be happy to join you.>

"Alright then, I know a few good places meself, so we'll head on our way now," he goaded. The strolled happily down the street, and at the corner Rimmer turned heel and gave the nasty old-woman-to-be an ugly face. Rimmer smiled.
He continued on, half-way hoping that the woman had not seen his antics. But the Devil in his mind was telling him to do it again with a secret smile.
That annoying, knowing curl of the lips that all creatures seemed to know innately.
It didn't let him go.
As they rounded the corner to O'Malley's Bar, Rimmer turned heel again to mock the lady, though, she might not have seen from this distance. He did one of the most insulting things he knew how.
He turned his face red, let a vein throb out of his temple--pretending to yell at a non-existant homeless man about buying booze with charity money and getting a job. Like he thought Dalamar would've.
Nah come on, do better! Careful to make things authentic, he managed to keep a full-fledged scowl going, like he though Dalamar would.
You're cooking with gas. Now apply a nice, final touch. Job done, he walked away with his nose stuck up in the air, walking in "holier than thou" style, swaying his ass, like he thought Dalamar would. Rimmer stuck out his tongue mentally, feeling as though he deserved to win an award for the insult.
He'd give himself one later. Congratualations. You pissed off the wrong lady. "Hell hath no fury like a womans scorn." Rimmer's expressioned changed completely to something more embarrased and apologetic. I see a purse-whacking in your future.
Rimmer made the mistake of stopping in his tracks. And, not for the first time, cursed his mind for what it says.

Okami watched the man's antics as she trotted along beside him. After he "yelled" at the non-existant person, the wolf got rather confused.
<Are you all right sir?> she asked.
Perhaps this is some kind of human ritual... Okami thought.

"Oh yeah, I'm fine!" Rimmer smiled. "Let's keep going." He nudged the wolf forward. Maybe if he kept on the move, he could evade the evil woman and her big, fat purse.

Samatha waited, she had seen a wolf, and if she hadn't mistaken, the wolf had spoken, and gave of an aura. Quickly she walked through th crowd, people moved from her. She gave off waves, waves of emotions. It was enough to drive anyone to sobbing, or hysterical laughter. Once people started to look at her, she focoused even more on the talking wolf, just daring it to look her way.

Okami could feel someone watching her. Watching her with more intensity than the outher people on the street. Uncomfortable, the wolf raised her hackles as she glanced over her shoulders.

Samatha smiled, she locked eyes, as well as she could, with the wolf. Capturing it with her gaze. "Come here!" she called, in a voice only the wolf could here.

Okami paused for a moment, looking at the strange human. There is something very strange about her. Something very strange. the wolf thought as she looked. Indeed, something was making the fur on her back stand straight up as she examined the girl.

Samatha waited for the wolf to finish her examination.

When Craymen had finished he stood up and exited the inn and walked round thecorner of the street. He saw people and a wolf, the wolf and the woman were looking at each other like they were going to have a fight. He walked over and said "whats going on here?" to the wolf almost like he knew that it spoke and knew it was in the small ally.

Okami answered the man without breaking "eye-contact" with the woman. <I do not know exactly.>

Rimmer turned round when he first noticed that the wolf wasn't exactly following him anymore. The atmosphere had become stiff, you see, and Rimmer had that sixth sense that allowed you to feel a persons gaze and things like that.
He looked at the wolf quizzically before following her gaze, wondering too.
And then the man showed up.
And then it was out of hand. "Oh come on, where's the barney? You've just got a case of the willies.I have a cure for that: walk away," he said, following his own advice.

Okami snorted to herself. <Excuse me.> she said to the second man before following the first man again.

Quickly Sam darted forward. As her emotions got stronger, so did her powers. The people walking around her were holding their heads, in anger, frustration, or just headaches.
As she started to walk faster, people around her were braking out into fights all around her. Just for looking at him, one man started pummelling another.
Sam ignored them, her mind sights on the wolf.
