Okami stopped. To Rimmer she said, <Go on ahead. I do not think it is wise for someone to stay right now.>
Turning around, the wolf faced the woman following them. flattening her ears against her skull, she demanded, <What is it that you want?>

"To know what you are," Sam replied simply, in the voice that only her and the wolf could hear.

Sam smiled, "Psychic," she answered. 'What else are you?"

Sam smiled, "I am an empath. Strong, or so some people say." She flipped her hair back over her shoulders, he eyes were clearly visible now. "I'm also blind."

Torch got bored of the resteraunt soon enough. Giving a hard shrug he shoved his body from the table. After leaving the door, he saw some sort of horiffic thing, he wasn't sure what it was, he ran. Like an idiot, he ran into, or rather, tripped over a wolf, and flung himself into a girl.
Sam gasped painfully as the boy hit him, she hissed and flung her arms uselessly. Sensing the fear already pulsating off of the boy, she shoved him off. "What the hell did you do that for idiot?" she huffed.
Torch, unable to answer the very pissed off girl standing in front of him, did the thing that most people would do, he let out a gasp.

Okami grunted as the boy tripped over her. The wolf looked around briefly then back at the boy, pinning him with unusual blue eyes.

Torch had the grace to blush. "I-I'm sorry?" he said. Both the girl, and the wolf had their attention on him. He wasn't sure whether to sing or dance, so he stayed quiet.
Sam wanted to kill him, or at least make him shiver in fear. But that would be too much. So she settled for glaring mercilessly.

Okami shook herself and tilted her head at the boy. <It seems we survived. I do not think any permanant harm was done>

Torch looked at the wolf, his eyes widened. It just talked to him. He went pale. "Yea, I think i'm fine."

<You should watch where you are going next time.> Okami said kindly. <Others may not take being tripped over as kindly as I do.>

Torch nodded, his face a pale grey. It occured to him that he might not be able to take this world. He glanced back at the girl.
Sam smiled, and bowed slightly at him. She wanted to get to know the wolf better, and if that included getting to know this poor bastard, so be it. She smiled.

Okami looked around for a moment. <Maybe we should move out of the way. That way someone else will not trip over us.>

Sam shrugged, she grabbed the boy's arm and dragged him into a different tavern then which he came in. There were hundreds all over the city.
