"The Ancients were almost godlike with their technology. They were destroyed by their own brilliance. Their machines of destruction, control, and fear are all thats left of them. Along with countless mysteries." He told her.

"Some of them...That was part of a swarm, if you kill the leader, they scatter, usually..." He said. You name it...."

He saw her look. "Not to worry. Its not a world worth knowing about if you don't live there." He said witha grim smile.

Rainlight chuckled. "That is very true I guess."

Rainlight smiled. "I think it would be interesting to see your world. Other than those monsters, it sounds very nice."

"Well, I suppose some of the landscape is nice... but it's hardly a good vacation spot." He said.

Ranlight laughed again. Rith made a rumbling sound, very much like a draconic laugh.

"So, do you know anything about where we are?" He asked her, looking around. It seemed to be a small island.

Rainlight shrugged. "This island is part of a large chain. There are some settlements on a few islands, but most of them seem near the main land. I have not gone that far from here. though."

"Perhaps we should head inland after my dragon returns. I doubt we'll figure much out here." He said.

Rainlight nodded. "I hope these people here do not get too frightened by the dragons. Even at home, some were afraid."
