When I heard about what happened in London yesterday, my first thought was, though I have lots of family that lives in England, only one person lives in London. We haven't heard anything from or about her yet, but my parents don't think she was anywhere that was hit.
A couple of my online friends live in England as well. Rob I know doesn't live in London and the ones that do, I heard that they're okay.
I read in the paper today that Canada could be hit next and that if happens on the West Coast (which is where I live), BC Ferries could be a target. My reaction that was "We don't need terrorists to screw up the Ferries, the BC government does that just fine already."
Yeah I'm weird.

Aww rain... I wanna give you a hug but I can't hug the monitor, my mom would commit murder. I don't think you have to worry. There were only about 50 people killed right? If she was killed or injured, I think the coroner or the hospital would have called you by now. Don't worry. My heart's with you on this one.

Well... We aren't the closest relatives. We would hear about it eventually though. That branch of the family does a newletter sometimes. Thanks for the virtual hug though <

Aww, I'm sorry you had to go through that! ...Come to think of it, I have family in England. But something happened...and both sides (canada and english) just stopped talking. Family problems, a couple generations back, I think. I really have no idea how they are. Goodness.

A newsletter! Wow, our branches of the family don't have to do that! We all live in michigan at the most a half hour away from each other so all my aunts and uncles and cousins get together at the least, monthly to celebrate someone's birthday.

My second cousin (my mom's cousin) was suppose to be in London for a meeting that day and just by pure chance it was postponed before hand. I should be finding out in a couple of weeks, my parents will probably be seening the woman's parents while their in Ottawa Most of my direct family lives here in BC. The rest are across Canada and with a few still in England from my mom's mum's side (since she was English). On a side note, because Grandma was English, I could apply and go to England and work there ;D
