PTS: This character could be thought of as a magical character.
A sleek, jet black cat, sometimes seen by adventurers. Known to turn up suddenly, and vanish in the same way.
There are reports of strange guiding voices, or whispers when the cat is near.
A little new information:
Blackie sighed. "ok.. To make any kind of sense of it, we have to go back roughly 3 hundred years. And like a lot of stories, this one started on a dark and stormy night, much like this one....."
" I had been traveling through the caves systems in the mountains, but somehow, I lost my bearing, and without knowing it, came out on the west side. I knew there was something wrong, the further I went wert with a broken compass, the worse the feeling got.
I battled attackers for days, and back in those days I was a good fighter, I was lucky too.
Eventually, I came across a large town. Though it was more like a small city. Grig Orig.
Everything was in decay, and blood was in puddles on the streets. For some reason I didn't leave while I could. I stumbled across so many wrong doings, that I was forced to stay and help.
I survived 3 nights there, until I stumbled across an old warehouse on the edge of town. I snuck in, and was horrified by what I saw. Hundreds of slaves, all young men and women. Chained up.
There were no guards, so I went up to talk to some of them. They said they had all been kidnapped from their homes in the east, and brought there. They begged me to help. So, I snuck upstairs in the factory.
The guards were there, almost all of them were almost unconscious from all the alcohol in their blood. There was about 20. After a while of searching, I found one with keys on his belt. Luckily, he was knocked out like most of the others, so I managed to get the keys.
I then snuck back down stairs. I told all of them that i would let them out, but not to run until all of them were out of the chains.
For about an hour, I went around, with a few others, unlocking each of them. We then began getting them out of the way I came in. Once they were all out, I used my new compass I had managed to get hold of, to guide us all, running as fast as we could, to the mountains.
Just as we got there, and they headed into the caves, the guards caught up. I threw one of the escapees the compass, and stayed back to hold the guards off, and I killed all of them, somehow, probably because they were so inept.
Just as I turned to go into the caves, a strangely dressed man appeared out of nowhere. He shouted at me for ruining his plans.
I went to attack him as well. But I suddenly found myself with an immense pain. When it stopped, I was like I am now. He cackled, loudly.
Through my shock I managed to notice the man's ego had caused a cave in. All that was left of him, was the jewel from the top of his staff. Which I buried by the entrance to the cave. No pockets....
Then for the next 300 years, I've continued to help people in the west. I was surprised to find that I wasn't getting any older. So, I think I must be immortal...
I've had a number of adventures since then, and have been to the East a few times, But those are all a different story. "
