PTS:Magical thread, but join in when you like
Elaquin moved carefully through the jungle. She wasn't extremely fond of the tight spaces, but she kept moving. Feeling the familiar bump of her sword at her side she continued through the trees and moss covered floor. Every sound made her jump. The only reason she was even in the jungle was that someone had told her there was a Dark Terror in there, when someone went in, they didn't come back out. That being a strange enough reason to want to go in (though it wouldn't be strange if she had wanted to run away) she kept going. for a two days she had seen no one and wasn't expecting anyone either.

There was a light rustling in the bushes behind her.
Something was watching, and following her.

Elaquin felt like she was being watched. She turned this way and that, looking for somehting, but unsure of what.

The 'thing' followed through the undergrowth, keeping hidden, but following her a long distance. It's green eyes watched her closely.

Elaquin stood still for half a second, then continued on, now more than a little nervous. her hand was wraped around her sword hilt, but she kept going, keeping a sharp look out. For a second she thought she saw something green, but when she looked bacl it looked like her imagination.

OOC: I hope you don't mind if I join in. *pleading puppy-eyes* ( ;D ) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Unnoticed by the thing following the girl, there was something following it. If it looked high into the trees, it would see what looked like a common fruitbat.
Naias would have grinned if bats could grin. Although she was in foreign territory, she was at home in the forest.

There was a low tree, and the creature got up on it silently, following unseen along the branches, looking down at her.
He turned his head to look down at her, and smiled to himself.
Then he suddenly ran out of branch.. but kept walking.
He fell out of the tree directly behind her.

Eve was attempting to keep up with her friend. She was failing miserably, but still trying.
She got to a clearing, and looked around. Blackie was no where in sight. She let out a groan of frustration. Sometimes it really bit to follow around cats. She took off into the forest again.

The cat knew that the girl he had been following would see him now.

For not the first time Naias wished bats could do some of the things humans could. When she saw the cat fall right out of the tree, she had the incredible urge to laugh. As it was she had let go of the branch she was hanging on and only saved herself from doing a faceplant into the ground by opening her wings.

Blackie watched the bat swoop down from the tree. Looks like he wasn't the only careless creature today...

Eve burst out of the trees. She saw Blackie standing in a clearing, along with two other creatures. She closed her eyes, panting for breath.

Naias found another branch to hang from, high enough so that she hoped she wouldn't be noticed but close enough to listen in.
