Okami scrambled to her feet at the flash of light. The grey wolf shook her head to clear away the blindness from the light. When she could see again, she stepped forward cautiously, looking at the white wolf.
<Is this something to do with your magic?>

The wolf, who was Mera whined as she lifted her head and shook it. she sighed and replied,
<Unfortunately, yes. Every now and then, it chooses. Kind of a curse or something. Anyways, I turn into a wolf, not that its my will or anything.>

They both suddenly came upon a white tailed deer and she grinned at Okami and they both bounded after the deer. Meras fur glowing in the moon light.
