Virose shook the demon's hand nervously. He had been expecting something easy, not a war. "Virose," he replied.

Largo grabbed the boy's sword which he had brought with him. It was nothing special, quite the contrary, it was very plain. But sturdy and sharp, without much use. He offered it out to the latest addition to the 'team'.

Virose took the sword and sheathed it while really wishing people would stop staring at him.... immediatly.

Jan glanced at Largo as he gave the sword to Virose, then at the other two. She was the only female in the group and there would be problems if any of them thought that she was weaker just because of her gender.

Largo considered the group, and gave only a mental sigh that was unknown to the rest of the room. It was such a small ragtag group he had gathered. But they were capable. He noticed no one else seemed to be jumping at the chance to introduce themselves, and they couldn't sit here all night.
"We should leave now," Largo suggested in a tone that made it seem like a cross between an order and a friendly suggestion.

"No problem," Virose spun around and headed out the door. He had been wanting to leave since he first met the man.

Jan stood and took up her glaive. The heavy teak staff was comfortable in her hand and she always kept the blade that topped it razor sharp. It was her favourite weapon, though she could fight with nearly any type.
Since the room had become crowded with the new additions, she waited for the others to start out the door first.

OOC: Last call for any new players for the time being (Probably at least till we get there)

Largo picked up his axe, which he had brought it with him for this task. It was of good quality, but nothing very special, he just liked to have an extra weapon handy when he suspected he was in for a fight.
He rotated his shoulders, half to relieve slight fatigue, and half to give the outward appearance of preparation. Once he was set, he walked out of the door as well.

Soldimon took one last look at the boy and proceded to follow largo out the door. He flicked his hair back and quickly checked his sword was in his sheath on the way out.

OOC: Sure thing! Intro you now. (Just so you all know, this not be god modding, we agreed on this method beforehand)
BIC:
Largo let the people prepare and leave the room at their own pace. It was such an odd group, and he was not about to risk giving them solid orders.
Scanning down hallway idly, he spotted someone who was dressed in colours that made even the dimly lit corridor look brighter.
This was the holy woman that he had asked to come along. For a while, he had not thought she would make it. She was no good in a fight, but Largo had to consider the injured and the dead too. Not only fighters would be needed.
It was suprising how many of those 'good hearted' healers and clerics had not been willing to come along...

Leeloo glided down the corridor towards them. The scarlet trim of her white robes swept around her bare feet.
"Largo," she said serenely. "It's always a pleasure. May I ask if our arrangement is still applicable?"
There was something detached and businesslike about her, despite her winsome smile.

Jan frowned at the so called "holy woman". She didn't have much to do with faith in general. It was hard to believe in an all-powerfull deity when there was so much wrong with the world. She had already had a, well the polite word would be "discussion" with the woman before. Another thing Jan didn't care much for was fanatics.
If Largo had decided to bring this Leeloo along, Jan was going to stay as far away from her as possible.

"Of course," he said simply and nodded, passing her a bag of coins. "We are just leaving now, I'm glad that you made it." He managed to smile, but he wasn't sure what he made of this girl yet.
True, she had agreed to come, but at a price. And her personality still confused him a little. 'Oh well...' He thought, 'at least she made it.'

A snake - that's what her smile looked like. Just like the mouth of a snake. She accepted the bag of coins from Largo graciously and cast a glance at Jan. The serpentine smile thinned and her face darkened, but only for a moment. The change was almost imperceptible, but it had been there. She managed a polite nod of recognition to the other woman and averted her eyes coldly.
"Largo, did you say that we're going to leave right away? I had rather hoped that we would stay the night here." She cast an anxious glance outside through the open shutters of a window. "The road can be dangerous at night."
