Ryan went back to his papers, again, ignoring everyone in the world. Stupid ugly fey girl, so pathetic.

This was turning out to be a really bad day. Megumi wanted to cry and at the same time break out in maniacal laughter. really this was too much stress for one person, fairy or not, to take. Her left fore-wing started to spasm and she gasped as pain, made worse by the cold and the damp, shot through her. God-rotting rain...

Jan finally got up and pulled the girl away from the blonde. With a firm hand she pushed the girl into one of the chairs near the fireplace.
"Sit." she ordered as she went to the counter and poured two mugs of mulled cider. With a flick she tossed the amount they cost into the money box and carried them back to the fireplace. She handed one mug to the girl.
"Hold that for a bit. It'll warm your hands."
It was plain as day that if the girl stayed near the guy any longer and there would have been bloodshed. Obviously the guy had a problem with anything that had magic.

"Thank you," Ryan muttered to the girl who had taken the thing away from him.

Megumi gave a weak nod through the pain from her spasming wing. The heat from the fire felt good...the pain started to subside. Why did that man get so angry with me? she wondered. I didn't do anything...I just wanted to help... she sighed "why am i here?" she asked herself.
The door screeched as it opened and was slammed again. What appeared to be a large, white half cat, half human (not to mention half drowned) crouched on all fours in front of the door, panting and driping. she was carying a plain wooden staff, and wore nothing except a large leather pouch at her hip. Once she caught her breath, she shook off, not really paying any attention to her surroundings, or who she got wet.

Ryan scoffed at the new comer. Luckily, the water didn't reach him, but that didn't help him from being angry. "Hey!" he yelled, "Watch where you spray!"
Without waiting for a response, he slammed out of the room. Anywhere would probably have better service then this, aswell as there being a few less magical creatures.
He walked through the halls, paper's in hand, and up to the turret that he was staying in. It really was a fixer upper.

Peaceful Kitty stood up smiling, obviously not bothered by the fact that she was wet. "sorry..." her smile failed for a moment as ryan stormed out of the room. what's his problem? i didn't get him wet... Almost immeadiatly it returned. She was free...her pride had stopped chaseing her at the first sign of the storm. Outside the winds howled, the rain poured down. And it was going to get worse before it got better...She'd be safe...at least for a while....

Jan suppressed a glare as the guy stormed out. Wanker. Then she looked at the new comer in appraisal.

Pk smiled at Jan. "Hello. You must be the inn keeper. Any chance of getting a hot meal at this hour?"

Jan sighed quietly. "I'm not the inn keeper, just the night-watch. And there's stew and pease porridge in the pots by the night hearth." She nodded her head in the direction of the smaller hearth near the bar.

The door squeaked open again, revealing a small woman, in a green dress and cloak, soaked to the skin. Her bedraggled hair was in a long braid, and her feathered wings, so wet they were grey, and heavy with rainwater, were practically dragging after her. "Please tell me there's rooms open..." She sighed, slumping into one of the chairs, tiredly.

Ryan heard something in the floors below. Magic, he could taste it. He let out a hiss. Rain or no, he was getting the hell out of here tomorrow.

"Thankyou." Pk said, then added, "any charge?" Thats when the door opened again, and pk forgot about food entirely. "Oh you poor thing!" She said to the lady stepping through the door. "You're not used to this kind of wether are you?" Pk had a soft spot for humans, had actually fallen in love with one. It was because of that love that her pride, all the prides, were hunting her.

Jan was about to reply when another newcomer came in. Tonight is popular. she thought with a snort.
"There are still rooms availabe." She told the woman, her voice blane and void of emotion.
