"I'm just not used to sudden downpours..." Nironai informed PK, while wringing out her braid. "How much for a room and a meal?" She adressed Jan.

"Two silvers a night, counting meals." Jan answered as she went over to the counter where the keys were kept.

Nironai grumbled under her breath as she dug out a sopping wash-leather purse, pulling out coins, shaking her head irritably.

Jan shrugged as she accepted the coins. She also thought it was over-priced for such a run-down dive. She handed over a key and told the woman that the rooms were upstairs.

"Thank you." Nironai said, tucking the key away, and turning to the fire, allowing the warmth to soak into her.

Nironai settled back in her chair, watching the flames eat at the firewood.
The door creaked open again, and a small brown furry...something...streaked in, trailing water and mud, diving under one of the tables as another flash of lightning lit up the outside.

Following on the heels of the... creature that had just flown in was a woman. She closed the door tightly behind her, and glided into the inn, carrying a staff decorated with arcane signs. All seemed relatively normal, except she wasn't wet. "Hm. I hate when storms do that," she remarked. Turning, caught sight of the rooms other occupants. Smiling, she addressed them in a voice that was soft and lilting. "Greetings. Where can I find the innkeeper?" She swept off her silk cloak and threw it into the air, where it promptly vanished.

Jan just shrugged at the creature that darted under the table. The half-elf looked at the newest woman.
"He's asleep. I'm night-watch." she said, "I could propably help you."

"Thank you. I wish to enquire the price of a room for the night." She looked around the room, studying the occupants. "I also would appreciate a meal." She half smiled. "It is not easy to travel. "

Nironai let her wings flare a bit, to help them dry.
A small catgirl, with large ears, scraggly looking now that she was all wet, with a long furry tail, peered out from under the table, wide gold eyes watching everyone.

"Thank you, Lady." Rhianna smiled and reached into her money bag, placing her staff on the floor. "Hm. Let's see... Here are the two silvers, and a tip for you." She handed over the two silvers, and a gold coin. When she down to retrieve her staff, she caught sight of two gold eyes under the table. "Hello, althida," she said softly, hoping not to frighten the cat girl. "Are you alright?" Concern was evident in her voice.
OoC: althida means little one. It's a term she picked up in all her traveling.

Jan took the money and put the silvers in the money box and pocketed the gold coin with the others she had garnered so far this evening.
