Although in shock Darkwood managed to kill the the two men that came after him, then just stood there staring at the red headed women, looking in disbelife at what he just saw. Never seen one of those before He thought to himself putting it bluntly.
ooc: Sorry about that got a bit confused.

Rainlight managed not to be blinded by the red-head's light, but only because she hadn't been looking directly at the girl. Though she hadn't been attacked in a long time like this, it was simple for her to defend herself.
The attackers also had to fend off the attacks of Larie and a green fire-lizard slightly smaller. Soon every single bandit had some kind of scratches from fire-lizard talons.

Red looked at Darkwood, ashamed at his look of disbelief. //It's not like I want that, you know...// She thought.
"I--is everyone OK?" Red asked, breaking the silence following the attack.
OOC: it's fine...

"Y-yes , what was that?" Darkwood said wiping the dripping blood off his sword with a rag he kept in his bag.

"It was....it was nothing. Forgot about it." Red dismissed the topic. //Uh....what do I say now?// She wondered.
"So...uh...who were they?" Red asked, turning crimson.

Rainlight called both fire-lizards to her shoulders, reassuring them as well as Rith. Dragon and fire-lizards were very agitated about the attack. Finally Rith settled back to the clearing in the forest she had been sleeping at, while Larie and Kryl landed on the elf's shoulders.
Rainlight wiped the blood off her sword on one of the fallen's shirts and sheathed it. She looked around again as she walked over to join the other two.

Red jumped to her feet, seizing her chance.
"So...uh....how'd the fight go for you?"

Rainlight smiled slightly. "The ones that when at me got more then they bargined for. It is difficult to defend yourself when you are being attacked from the air as well as on the ground."

"Uhhmm....yeah, it is," Red agreed, relieved to have the fovus off of herself. "Good job, I liked your style," Red added, thinking of the bits she'd seen and wondering what it would be like to actually do hand-to-hand combat.

Laura peeked out from under the bench. Well, that seemed to be taken care of, she thought. She scooted out from under the bench and sat up. She knew what the others were probably thinking of her. If they saw she hid during the whole attack, they'd probably think her a coward. She mentally shrugged. She didn't really give a damn what they thought of her. She'd even admit it to herself; she was coward. She didn't like getting cut, she didn't like wielding swords, killing people - well the last she was somewhat impartial to - and she didn't like all ythe blood. Way to messy for her taste. But if it ever came down to it, she would fight with hand and claw, tooth and nail and have to be carried kicking and screaming into the gates of death. Nuh-uh, no way; death was not one of her favorite hobbies. Still, she sighed, looking at the people as they gathered, discussing what had just happened; these people were people of means. Regular hero wannabes she called them. Now this, this could be to her advantage. The only true adventurer knew how to turn misfortune into luck, and she felt she was definately developing a knack for it. She didn't really want to split the treasure with anyone, but they didn't have to know how much was really there. Come to think of it, not even she knew how much was really there in that abandoned vault. Oh well, she thought, that was a risk she would have to take. Should she offer them a percentage of what was in there, or a set amount? A percentage would mean she would have to give them stuff from the vault and that may be more then she intended to give anyone of HER treasure. But if she oggered a set price for their services and it turned out to be nothing but a pile of old bones and some dust and then she'd been in debt - well, some risks an adventurer had to take. Better to give them the percentage then. Now, to enlist their help. She didn't know who these brigands were, but maybe she could use them to her advantage. The sudden silence that enveloped the room once the fight was over was broken by a loud, slow, rhythmic clapping. It was Laura, sitting on the floor, rhyly applauding them with a grim, superior smile on her face. Maybe that'd get their atteention.

Darkwood turned his head to look at the person under the bench. "What in the name of God are you doing under there?" He asked. "Surly you wern't scared of such people as that?"
Darkwood also looked at the red head "Ahh. The battle, the only real thing im any good at, apart from navigating. Yes it went well thanks because the ones that came for me were horridly suprised when they found themselves being lifted off the ground on the end of my sword." Darkwood started to grin because it was the only half decent battle he had been in for 2 years now, and although he did not normally like killing, the fact that there were there to cause trouble and rob other peoples money made him rather enjoy it.

Red turned to the sound of the clapping. "Hey, stop that," Red snapped, then shook herself. "Oh, um, could you please stop? It's..." She thought for a moment, "uh..breaking my consentration...?" She turned(again!) to a diferent sound coming from...duh-duh-duh....one of the men she'd just KOed! WOW! "Oh....no.....um, I guess I forgot to kill them.." Red muttered, turning...well....red again. OOC: OK, sorry about the weird things (duh-duh-duh and KO(knocked out, if you didn't know), etc...I guess I was feeling impulsive.....

Darkwood just looks "Alright then but people like that are better off dead."
Darkwood just walked back to his bench, although looking completly relaxed he was ready to fight again, because he knew that the type of people that came to rob them do not give up that easily, they fight to the end. But it really did depend on what they were like as people, apart from being complete arseholes.

"Nobody's better off dead," Red murmured, walking over to the man who was coming around.
"Do you yeild?" She asked, pinning him down.
"Y-y-yeild! I yeild!!" He replyed desperatly, obviosly doubting she was going to let him live.
"Good, now you get out of here before someone else decides you needn't live.." Red murmured, glancing behind her as she got up. The man immediatly got up and ran out of the room, soon followed by the others that Red had knocked out.
"Don't bug me about that," she muttered to the other people in the room. "I dislike killing anyone humanoid."

"So you rather they kill people that are humanoid for no good reason, just so they can live like fat cats for the rest of their life? I like to protect INNOCENT human life, even if it should come to killing other NOT SO INNOCENT people along the way." Darkwood added before collecting his map and retiring back to his bench for a well-earned, good nights sleep.
