"I want to find a map of these tunnels before we go romping around blindly in them." Braedon said. "But thats not likely."

"What about taht room that we passed earlier, we didn't really inspect it. Perhaps there will be some sort of map over there," suggested Heather.

As Heather turned around, she made sure that Dog followed them as well.

Okami brought up the rear with Dog. The wolf kept her nose up to make sure no one would sneak up on them.

As they followed along the passage Heather heard no steps or other signs of activity. When they reached the room, Heather prodded Dog forward. After a second, Heather followed, stepping into the room and finding it deserted.
ooc: One nice thing is that Dog would be just seen as nosing around, and his presence would be a bit more explainable had there been someone in the room.

OOC: Dog probe BIC: Braedon followed heather into the desert room, and started looking around.

Okami examined a pile of scrolls and papers lying on the floor in one corner.

After a quick glance, Heather went straight to the room's only desk. There was a table near one of the walls, and it appeared to be used for meetings. There were abstract piles of papers, making it harder to discern what exactly the desk was for.
The walls of rock, that was no surprise. wallpaper had not made its appearance as of yet and there was a strong beam in the middle of the room to support rock ceiling. No paintings were there, signifying a business room rather than a personal office. Yet the desk was obviously owned by someone with power and money.
Heather stared at the papers, memorizing their positions and then carefully went through it. Many papers had enough foreign technical terms to make them useless. However, she did fid a map and a memo that made more sense than the other papers. She called the others over.

Braedon came over, but didn't say anything. Okami had asked the only relevant question.

Heather placed the map and the memo where they could all see it. "There are not many human inhabitants in this area, so I think these passages are newly carved out....unless some river did the job previously. They have been at work at this area for several years. The tunnels are not big but they are not small, indicating hard work and that someone is looking for something valuable. I also found this memo. Due to the secrecy of the matter, I would say that the person this memo is directed to is a close friend...or someone the boss of this operation trusts not to spread."
