PTS: Magical, free for those who wish. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hakai trodged ahead of Imoto, guiding the mare on foot. He sacrificed his head veils to protect his horse's eyes from the driving wind. He knew he would have to find shelter for both of them soon. Up ahead, he could barily see the dark spot of a cave. Slowly he managed to coax Imoto up the final bit of path.
The cave looked big enough at the first cursiory glance. He tethered the mare far enough in and unloaded their scant supplies, mostly grain for his horse. He gave her ration to Imoto, who munched it gratefully. Hakai chewed on a piece of trail rations as he searched about for something to make a fire with.

ooc: Hope ya don't mind if I join?
bic: Suddenly out of nowhere a flash accompanied by a loud bang and a coughing puff of smoke appeared outside the cave. "Hack!-Ack! Dang blasted - Ack! - wrong componants!" a female voice snarled through clogged lungs. A scorched wizards robe and two small soft slippers were all that could be seen stumbling out of the rising coloumn of smoke. "Where am I?" The hood was pulled so low over her head it almost looked like a bag instead of a part of her rune-embroidered purple robes.

OOC: Not at all ;D ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Imoto started and pulled at her tether. Hakai rushed to her side to calm the little mare before she hurt herself. He glanced over at the sorceress curiously, wondering what Rank she could be. Her robes were a little different from the sorcerers of Elder's Isle back home.
"The people here call this mountains the Icy Mountains." The young man answered cautiously.

The woman, startled at the sound of his voice, had a wand out before he even finished his sentance. But, seeing as he was making no move to harm her, decided - reluctantly albeit - to lower her wand. A little. "Icy Mountains you said? And where is the, uh, Icy Mountains?" Her feet were already getting sharp pangs of pain from the sudden temperature differance and beginning to freeze.

Hakai shrugged, not worried by the wand pointed at him.
"The country's name is Lunairis." he answered.

"Lunairis," she said absently to herself as she began rummaging around in her robes for a map. "That's not Solice," she mumbled and gave a small exclamation of satisfaction as she pulled out the map. She unfolded it, twisted it around, this way and that a bit, her freezing feet momentarily forgotten and began measuring the distance between The Icy Mountains and Solice. She looked up at him. "I'm not good with maps," she said sheepishly. "Um, how far away am I from Solice?" She walked toward him and showed him the map, a sheepishly pleading look in her eye. "Could ya help? Please?"

Hakai looked the map over. He wasn't very good with maps either, but he had been getting better since being forced on this world. He was still more used to finding his way by landmarks though.
"I came from this area." He said pointing to the place marked The Valley. "I have been travelling for about three weeks."

"The valley? Okay, let's see. Solace is.... I'd say half the distance from the valley to the Icy Mountains according to the map, andI started here," she pointed at a randon place on the map, "using a ml of dragons' powder combined with a hint of parsley-" She smiled at him. "Parsley is actually a magic componant you know, so that means I should use about half a ml and a hint of parsley. Yup, that should do it. She smileed at him as she folded up the map and shoved it back into a random pocket, then started searching other ones for her componants. She gave another exclamation of satisfaction as she pulled out a vial of blue power and a small cloth pouch with strings. She walked into the cave and measured out a small pile of the powder on the floor and opened the bag. But the bag was empty. "What? Where's my parsley? Where'd it go?!" She began difgging through her pockets, pulling out everything she could get her hands on. She pulled out viles, scrolls, small books, bags of componants. In the end, she had small piles of things all around her. How could one small girl like her carry so many things? "No parsley. I have no parsley. I'm stuck." She moaned.

Hakai watched the strange girl empty her pockets, thinking she must be more then a little insane.

The woman looked around helplessly, then spotted the man, suddenly remembering him. "Excuse me, do you have any parsley? I need parsley, it's a spell componant and as soon as I get some I can get out of your hair. Please?"

Hakai shook his head. "Most of my supplies is grain for my horse. The rest are just plain trail rations." he never needed anything like herbs for flavouring his food.

The woman looked crestfallen. Suddenly, she noticed that she couldn't feel her heet anymore and gave a small shiver. "Well, I guess that means I'm stuck here then. Ah, would you mind if I traveled with you?" she said through now chattering teeth.

Hakai shrugged. It didn't matter to him if she came along or not. Infact a sorceres might be useful.

She clapped her hands together in glee. "Yes? Is that a yes? I'll take that as a yes." She nodded with a smile on her face, her good humor returning almost immediately as she walked into the cave. "How about a fire? A fire would be nice. I'm good with those." She pulled out her wand again and aimed it at a small area in the cetner of the cave. She stared at it hard for a moment, everything becoming still around her and then shouted "Lumos!" There was a burst, a flash, and a puff of smoke as suddenly a merrily dancing fire appeared in the spot her wand had point. "Ah! Good!" She sat down immidiately and pulled off her slippers, pulling back the robe to reveal two long shapely legs with two small feet close to the fire regaining color and warmth.

Hakai petted Imoto for a few minutes more before taking a seat by the fire as well.
